Job OverviewThis opportunity is ideal for a seasoned mechanical design engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through commissioning. If you thrive in high-speed manufacturing environments, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and want exposure to global equipment projects, this role offers both technical depth and long-term stability.
Responsibilities- Design, install, and commission high-speed process equipment across domestic and international manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing machinery to drive performance, reliability, and safety.
- Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and mechanical components to support production needs.
- Perform reverse engineering on equipment and components to support upgrades and problem resolution.
- Partner with external vendors and suppliers on equipment design, build, and integration.
- Develop detailed drawings, technical documentation, and equipment training materials for plant personnel.

- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design of production machinery and capital equipment.
- Extensive experience designing, fabricating, installing, and commissioning high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Strong background in tooling and fixture design and hands-on mechanical assembly.
- Proven expertise troubleshooting complex mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in 3D design software including Solid Works and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally in support of equipment development and production initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
