Job DescriptionThe CI Process Engineer is responsible for utilizing our people’s talents to produce at the pace of customer demand using optimal resources. Achieve the lowest cost with Six Sigma quality across the entire value stream.

Essential functions of the job- Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping).
- Collaborate with C.I. Manager to assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations;
Develop Future State vision and implementation plan. - Drive multifunctional teams. Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals.
- Deliver YFIMS training modules.
- Support other C.I. initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business Metrics.
- Assist in the gathering of YFIMS Assessment data. Collaborate with C.I. Manager to improve Lean-relevant metrics, including those in the 6 panel.
- Implementation of a time study system across all processes and use it to drive labor efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Area of Study:
Engineering or similar - Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
- 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience.
- 3 Minimum Years of Experience with in the automotive industry.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
- Engineering/Process experience.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing principles and operations.
- Certified in Lean Manufacturing, preferred certification as Green Belt.
- Experience with Microsoft (MS) Project, MS Office.
- Basic Statistical knowledge.
- The ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
