The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the achievement of Setter Stix’s business objectives by:

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, orthe environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose thebest solution and solve problems.
• Perform pysical repairs to production machines.

• Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstixsafety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paperloading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.
• This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be takento satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Inspectequipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect orassess problems.
• Assureproduct quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stickcharacteristics while performing the machine technician function (length,diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.
• Assurequick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets
• Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately.
• Achieve thetasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System,inclusive of BRC.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Process Technician.
• Certification or credential in related fields from localcareer & technology center and/or local technical college is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.
• Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.53/hr (21.53/hour + $1/hr 2nd Shift Prem)

Schedule:

10 Hour

Shift: 2nd (1600 to 0230) 4:00 pm to 2:30 a.m.
