The Fountain Inn facility supports high-volume automotive seating production for major OEM customers.

Quality Engineer - 1yr Contract Details:

Support compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific quality requirements.
Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, and other structured problem-solving methods.
Develop and maintain APQP documentation, including PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, SPC, and MSA.
Analyze quality data, customer complaints, scrap, warranty, and production trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Support new product launches, process validation, and production readiness activities.
Perform process, product, layered process, and internal quality audits.
Coordinate containment activities, corrective actions, and verification of permanent solutions.
Monitor process capability and quality performance using statistical analysis and key quality metrics.
Partner with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Operations to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement.
Support customer and supplier quality concerns, including audits, investigations, and corrective action implementation.
Review engineering changes to ensure quality documentation and manufacturing processes remain current.
Train and support production personnel on quality standards, inspection methods, and control plans.

Quality Engineer - 1yr Contract

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA).
Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and quality standards.
Experience performing internal, process, and customer quality audits.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience working in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of automotive seating, interiors, or assembly operations is a plus.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt, or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
