Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

RBA Builders is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our growing Preconstruction team.

We are a full-service General Contractor delivering projects across the commercial, industrial, aerospace, education, entertainment, and medical sectors throughout Southern California.

This role is ideal for someone with estimating experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating on a wide variety of commercial construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scopes
• Coordinate subcontractor bids and pricing
• Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings
• Develop bid packages and value engineering options
• Support project planning and preconstruction efforts

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-5 years of estimating or construction-related experience
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to pass background screening for project badging

Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods working at a computer and reviewing documents
• Occasional walking and standing at active construction sites
• Ability to travel to project locations as needed
• Ability to safely navigate construction environments while using required PPE
