Position Details:
Patient Population: Obstetrics (no GYN surgeries)
Setting: Hospital - Fountain Valley Regional Hospital
Responsibilities:
Attend deliveries and manage OB patients from ER or in labor
Monitor labor and fetal well-being
Provide consults for GYN patients (no surgeries)
Collaborate with community OB/GYNs and neonatologists
Support Level III NICU
Cover ED for obstetrical concerns
Participate in 24-hour in-house coverage model
Required Procedures: Obstetrical care and delivery management
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Collaborates with neonatologists and community OBs
Days Per Month: Approx. 7 8 shifts for full-time (2,190 hrs/year)
On-Call/Weekends: None
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in OB/GYN Required
California medical license (or willing to obtain) Required
Clinical experience in L&D and hospital-based OB care Preferred
Willingness to work 24-hour in-house shifts Required
