Parsons is seeking an experienced  
** Electrical Resident Engineer
** to support essential wastewater infrastructure projects across Southern California, with assignments primarily in  
** Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and throughout Orange County** .

** What You'll Do*
* + Serve as the Owner's representative during construction of wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, gravity pipelines, and force main systems.

+ Act as a key liaison among the Owner, Contractor, design engineer, inspection staff, and other project stakeholders.

+ Lead field inspection staff and provide quality assurance oversight of the Contractor's work.

+ Review plans, specifications, and other contract documents and apply requirements in the field.

+ Monitor construction activities for compliance with contract documents, approved procedures, applicable codes, and safety requirements.

+ Verify that installed materials and equipment meet project specifications.

+ Coordinate equipment isolations, tie-ins, and process integrations.

+ Attend project meetings, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and prepare meeting documentation.

+ Review shop drawings, submittals, progress schedules, schedules of values, and other contractor documentation for general conformance with contract requirements.

+ Observe work in progress to assess quality, progress, and compliance with the Contract Documents.

+ Identify and document nonconforming work and recommend corrective action.

+ Review applications for progress payments and provide recommendations to the Owner.

+ Support interpretation of design intent and communicate clarifications of the Contract Documents.

+ Evaluate proposed changes, analyze change orders, and assess cost and schedule impacts.

+ Support startup, commissioning, training, and project closeout activities.

+ Prepare technical, administrative, and budget-related correspondence, reports, and records.

+ Perform constructability reviews and maintain accurate project documentation, including milestones, deliverables, and warranty information.

** Required Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's Degree Engineering (or related field)

+ 12+ years related field engineering experience or broad general engineering background and previous project engineering experience

+ At least  
** 5 years of experience
** in the construction of wastewater treatment, pumping, and conveyance facilities.

+ Experience overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of  
** electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) systems
** in accordance with design specifications, contract documents, budgets, schedules, applicable codes, and safety requirements.

+ Experience serving as an Owner's representative, Resident Engineer, Construction Manager, or in a similar field leadership role.

+ Demonstrated ability to oversee complex wastewater treatment and conveyance projects, including issue resolution and risk management.

+ Ability to read and interpret contract documents, construction drawings, specifications, and contractor CPM schedules.
