Job Summary

An established and growing automotive repair facility in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking an experienced Auto Service Writer/Service Advisor for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a customer-focused automotive professional who understands repair procedures, communicates clearly with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. As the primary liaison between customers and technicians, the Auto Service Writer/Service Advisor will help deliver a smooth, professional experience from vehicle drop-off through pickup.

• Greet customers professionally, listen to concerns, document vehicle symptoms, and build strong customer relationships.
• Create repair orders, prepare accurate repair estimates, and present recommended repairs for customer authorization.
• Communicate diagnostic findings, service recommendations, repair status, and completion timelines clearly and professionally.
• Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and the parts department to keep service operations moving efficiently.
• Schedule appointments, manage daily workflow, maintain accurate records, and ensure repair orders and invoices are complete.
• Recommend preventative maintenance and additional repairs based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
