The Relationship Manager II (RM II) primarily consults with members to identify needs, recommend products and solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. The role includes meeting and exceeding performance goals and revenue targets, reporting suspected fraud, and handling a wide variety of member transactions such as opening and closing deposit and loan accounts, posting deposits, withdrawals, and loan/VISA payments, performing account transfers, and conducting routine account maintenance.
The RM II also profiles member accounts to recommend product and service solutions, coaches and mentors staff, and assists with leadership functions in the absence of branch management. This role’s primary focus is the member experience and is expected to represent Nuvision Federal Credit Union in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions, both in person and over the phone.
- Input, process, and fund all consumer and small business loan types including Closed-end Signature, LOC, VISA, Automobile, Personal, Toy, RV, HELOCS, Small Business and Other Secured.
- Make calls based on call reports to generate business during the work day and at scheduled call nights.
- Open all new Member Accounts:
Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA, completing all required forms. - Perform account maintenance such as changes of address, name changes, joint owners, beneficiaries, closing accounts, processing deceased accounts and notarizing documents.
- Assist with leadership functions in the absence of branch management and coach teller line.
- Observe and suggest alternative methods for profiling member accounts.
- Identify and report any suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity.
- Complete all required training and compliance modules.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and Credit Union events such as Car Sales, Open Houses, and Open Enrollments.
- Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally.
- Maintain member and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Treat all team members and members with respect.
- 18 months of financial institution experience with prior loan experience and evidence of meeting service and performance goals.
- Strong knowledge of deposit and loan products (Trust, IRA, certificates, loans/APPRO – loans decisioning system).
- Proven ability to generate business.
- Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, understand, and anticipate member needs.
- Member service and organizational skills.

- Successful completion of all compliance coursework.
- Notary privilege.
- NMLS registration.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Southern California:
Minimum $26.57 – Mid $33.22 – Maximum $39.86 per hour. - Base pay may vary based on geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
