We are searching for an experienced Sr. Analyst in Supply (Temp) at our Headquarters facility. The Sr. Analyst will oversee supply performance for items sourced from overseas and domestic suppliers, meeting department purchase, fill‑rate, back‑order line, PO aging, and inventory (MOS) objectives. Responsibilities include forecasting, ordering, expediting, and maintaining supplier relationships to support MPA’s profitability and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Forecast and order assigned parts to meet corporate fill rate and inventory (MOS) objectives. (30%)
- Expedite vendor purchase orders to minimize critical inventory and dealer back‑order situations. Review daily dealer back‑order report, and take appropriate action to resolve, including XVOR/UPER orders to minimize risk of buy back. (25%)
- Coordinate, oversee and place initial orders for new model parts as required to ensure parts availability at time of vehicle wholesale. (20%)
- Train and support Analyst, Parts Supply to help meet department objectives. (15%)
- Miscellaneous maintenance of part master and purchase order data. (10%)
- Review and maintain all assigned parts to meet objectives for fill rate and inventory levels.
- Prepare purchase orders on a regular basis, including weekly air and sea orders, urgent air (VOR/XVOR) orders, initial/new model parts orders and other special orders, as required to support customer needs and Mobis purchase targets.
- Monitor dealer backorders continuously, and communicate/expedite with suppliers on delivery in order to achieve highest customer service and fill rate.
- Maintain purchase order files to ensure accuracy; reconcile with suppliers on a regular basis.
- Analyze, review and place initial orders for new model vehicles. Maintain pipeline for sufficient supply during the first 12–18 months of vehicle production. Ensure 98% fill rates to support OEMs objectives.
- Train and support Analyst, Parts Supply to help meet department objectives for fill rates, MOS, back‑order lines and back‑order aging.
- Review and recommend changes to the Part Master to ensure that correct supply levels, supersession codes, and parts control codes are maintained and accurate.
- Take an active role in identifying and recommending modifications to the Parts System to aid in inventory planning and to improve customer service. Participate in the design, testing and implementation of short and long‑term computer system enhancements.
- Support any ad‑hoc requests for analysis, information, or additional tasks.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- No travel is required for this role.
- High School Diploma is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in service parts forecasting and inventory management.
- Independent judgment and pro‑active decision‑making within general guidance from company and department policies.
- Intermediate computer skills: e‑mail, routine database, word processing, spreadsheets.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Employment Type: Non‑Exempt
Compensation: Hourly Wage, $62,518.54 – $92,214.85
