Supply Supervisor

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Pay Rate: $34.50 - $51.10 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Travel: Up to 20% occasional overnight travel

We are seeking a Temporary Supervisor, Supply to lead inventory planning, supply chain coordination, and campaign parts management for a fast-paced automotive parts operation. This role is responsible for ensuring parts availability, improving supply chain performance, managing inventory levels, and supporting customer service objectives through effective forecasting, ordering, expediting, and vendor collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor supply planning team members to achieve operational goals and KPI targets.
  • Manage inventory planning, purchase orders, backorders, fill rates, and months of supply.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, distribution centers, and internal teams to ensure timely parts availability.
  • Develop supply schedules for campaigns, service actions, and special projects.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory trends, and completion rates to reduce excess and obsolete inventory risk.
  • Generate performance reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify process improvements and support system enhancements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve supply chain issues through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of inventory planning, supply chain, materials management, or logistics experience.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems, ERP platforms, SQL, or MS Access is a plus.
  • Automotive, service parts, or campaign planning experience preferred.
