As a Security Officer Armed Hospital Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication.

Position Type:
Full Time / Swing Shift. Pay Rate: $30.64 per Hour.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security-related observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support staff during security-related situations involving patient and visitor interactions, access control, and after‑hours activity while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories to be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
