Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Fountain Valley, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
* Install and finish trim, moldings, baseboards, casings, and other detailed woodwork in residential and commercial settings
* Perform high-quality finish carpentry tasks, including sanding, staining, painting, and caulking to ensure a flawless final product
* Work with a variety of trim profiles and finishes, including custom and pre-made options
* Ensure accurate measurements and cuts, and work from blueprints, drawings, or other specifications
* Fabricate custom wood pieces, including cabinets, countertops, doors, windows, and furniture, based on project requirements
* Work with a variety of wood materials and finishes, such as hardwoods, plywood, MDF, and veneers
* Use tools like table saws, routers, planers, and sanders to produce high-quality millwork items
* Perform detailed joinery, including dovetail, mortise-and-tenon, and other advanced woodworking techniques
* Construct and assemble custom sets and props for theater, film, and TV productions
* Work with a variety of materials including wood, foam, metal, and plastics to build large-scale and intricate props
* Follow detailed blueprints and specifications provided by designers and directors
* Be prepared to adapt quickly to project needs, including last-minute design changes or alterations
