MPA provides after-sales service parts support for Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, and Genesis. In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.

TheprogrammersareresponsiblefordirectsupportofAMOS (Advanced Operating System ) includinginternalfunctionality and interfaces with any external systems. Support includes development of user applications, bug fixes, and modification/enhancementstoexistingfunctions,testing,system documentation,andad-hocdatagathering/queries.

ProgrammerssupportMPACorporateusers,MPAParts Distribution Centers ,MRC,andother SubsidiariesusingU.SAMOS.SupportmayrequirecoordinationwiththesystemsteamatHQ.Supporthoursmayextendbeyondnormalbusiness hours at MPA Corporate offices to support users in different time zones and countries or coordinate withstaffin

Korea.

• 1st Develop design specification based on business user requirements 20%
• 2nd Program development 30%
• 3rd Troubleshoot system problems 20%
• 4th Testing of new/modified programs 15%
• 5th Ad Hoc data gathering/queries 15%

• Under limited supervision perform the functions of a Team Leader on small projects.
• Gather user requirements
• Develop design specifications
• Program devel
• Create test plans, test cases and perform unit, integration and parallel testing of all processes.
• Pretesting and bug fix prior to release for UAT
• Coordinate testing with clients and verify accuracy of test results
• Perform quality control of programs and system changes prior to implementation
• Implement project installations to production
• Monitor daily operations, programs, batch processing and system processing
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot daily operations, programs and system problems
• Operation program & logic research and documentation
• Provide support to operational staff for error resolution

• This is a full-time, on-site position in Fountain Valley, CA.
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

• Bachelor'sdegree in Computer
  
  Scienceorarelatedfieldisrequiredorequivalentcombinationofeducationandworkexperienceanddemonstratedskills.

• Minimum of 7 years of system design/programming experience with the Java platform and the Java EE Application Servers including Restful Web Services and APIs.
• Android development experience optional but highly preferred
• Operating Systems: AIX, Linux, (or other UNIX), Windows Server.
• Databases: DB2, MySQL, (or other similar RDBMS such as Oracle or MS SQL)
• Software & Languages :
  Java, J2EE, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
• Applications :
  Web Sphere, Tomcat, (or other Web Application Server such as Apache), FTP, Email
• Tools :
  Microsoft office, VISIO, Change Management, Jira, Eclipse, CVS (or other version control software)

The expected hiring range for this position is $71,893., depending on experience and qualifications.
