Essential
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in speech-language pathology or a related field
- Valid CDE-issued licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy settings is a plus
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions as directed by supervising SLPs
- Support students within the K-8th grade range in both individual and group modalities
- Implement therapy plans addressing a wide spectrum of communication challenges
- Document student progress, maintain records, and assist in program planning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technology with students as appropriate
