Pay: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

SummaryProvides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
Responsibilities- Perform technical procedures such as establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients.
- Perform ECGs and vital sign/telemetry monitoring.
- Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures, examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
- Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
- Assist with patient flow and maintain patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
- Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
- Minimum required education: HS Diploma or GED.
- Licensure/Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life‑support certification as determined at position level. Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT‑I. - Experience:
None required. - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, card in hand before start date. Card must remain valid for 60 days after hire.
