Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights
Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on relevant experience
This position is onsite with no hybrid or remote option
Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400 yearly) to full-time night shift RNs.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years’ experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • ACLS and either PALS or ENPC upon hire.
  • TNCC and whichever of PALS or ENPC was not obtained at hire within 1 year of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), PALS Certification, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, Trauma Nurse Core Course.
  • BLS – BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in hand before start date; BLS or CPR card must remain valid for at least sixty days from hire.

  • Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.

  • Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
  • Welcomes new knowledge in a fast paced, innovative clinical environment.

Freestanding Emergency Department

Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) settings offer an opportunity to provide urgent and emergent care outside of a hospital environment, including diagnostic and procedural care. Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
