Wage: $19.00/HR

Sat & Sun: 2PM - 11:30PM (Fountain)

Sun-Tues: 11:30AM-11:30PM ($18.62/HR, South Academy)

• Greet vendors, customers, client employees, client, and aid as needed
• Conduct internal foot patrol to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress/egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons; inspect grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear
• Monitor entrances/exits and provide guidance to customers and/or vendors
• Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employees, client, and Management know their needs are being met
• Present a good image to client, public, and Management
• Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate
• Ensure property removal is conducted within policy requirements and client standards
• Carry out tasks of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/appropriate judgment and escalation
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation
• Standing and walking for long periods
• Appropriate I-9 identifications
• Willingness to travel 25-30 miles to and from work
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals
• Understanding of customer service and interactions with the public
• Swing or Graveyard shift availability
• Reliability, accountability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Ability to greet customers, client employees, or clients with excellent customer service
• Intermediate computer/technology skills to complete daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices, and report alarms via telephone
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to assist vendors, public, client, Site Supervisors, and Office Management
• Open to communication and feedback from client, client managers, and Office Management
• Able to adhere to 15-minute and lunch breaks while responding to requests for support
• Able to work in a team to achieve site/organizational goals
• Able to remain organized and professional
• Able to learn and adhere to security operations
• Provide high-quality customer service in-person, via radio, and over the telephone
• Reliable transportation to and from site; able to work during inclement weather
• Must obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it annually
• Must attend in-person interview and orientation in Colorado Springs if hired
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
