Primary Locations: Colorado Springs, Falcon, Fountain & Manitou, CO
Wage: $19.50/HR
Note: Some sites may not be accessible by public transportation due to location and/or shift.

Responsibilities- Report alarms in accordance with client requirements, and monitor cameras.
- Greet vendors, customers, residents, client employees, and aid as needed.
- Conduct internal patrol and/or external mobile patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspect grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
- Monitor entrance/exits and provide guidance to site visitors and/or vendors.
- Complete daily activity (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
- Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employees, site visitors, client, and Management know their needs are being met.
- Present a good image to client, public, and Management.
- Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.
- Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
- Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Appropriate I9 identifications.
- Willingness to travel 25‑30 miles to and from work.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Understand the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
- Must list 2 shifts that meet candidate shift requirements.
- Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
- Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors, residents, customers, client employees, or client in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and ability to report alarms via telephone.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, public, client, site supervisors, and office management.
- Must be open to communication and feedback from client, site supervisor and office management.
- Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks.
- Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
- Must be able to remain organized and professional.
- Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
- Must provide high quality customer service in‑person, via radio, and over the telephone.
- Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol.
- Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
- Must be able to attend in‑person interview, and in‑person orientation in Colorado Springs if hired.
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
