Job Overview
Trimmer/Climber – Full‑time, non‑exempt. Hourly pay ranges from $19.50 to $23.66, paid weekly.

- Trim and/or remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
- Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
- Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
- Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Feed brush and debris into a wood chipper.
- Repair minor job‑related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
- Service gasoline, air, and hand‑powered tools and other equipment.
- Relay hand signals, direct traffic, drive, and operate trucks and equipment as assigned.
- Keep trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
- Safeguard employees and the public from hazards.
- Cooperate with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
- Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
- Be trained to perform tree and bucket rescue.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Inspect and maintain work equipment, request repairs or replacements.
- Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
- Perform other related work as assigned by superiors.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
- Capability to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or on uneven & slippery surfaces, while handling equipment or material, under unfavorable weather conditions.
- No fear of heights.
- Good hand‑to‑eye coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Entry‑level position, no experience required.
- Previous experience is a plus.
Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.
License & CertificationsDriver's license preferred, but not required.
Physical RequirementsRARE (less than 10%): sitting, kneeling, crawling, color vision, climbing stairs.
OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): stooping, squatting, climbing on/off truck, climbing ladders, pushing, reading.
FREQUENT (up to 66%): carrying, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs, balancing, body‑twisting, hearing/speech range, lifting up to 10 lbs, manual dexterity, speaking clearly, walking.
CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): standing, sense of touch, gripping, seeing distant, reaching, range‑of‑motion, depth perception, lifting over 10 lbs to 50 lbs, climbing poles, sense of touch.
