Maintenance Technician - Cottages at Mesa Ridge

Community Name:
Cottages at Mesa Ridge and Cottages on the Boulevard. Unit Count: 122 and 194.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, on‑call required.

• Prepare units for move‑ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and/or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for 24‑hour emergency maintenance and on‑call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements when possible.
• Manage Snow removal (CO, KS, UT) or Hurricane Preparation and Clean up (FL).
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and maintain clear, professional communication with residents, vendors and team members.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO license/certifications preferred.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and up‑to‑date vehicle insurance is required.
• Completion of Wonderlic pre‑employment assessment if minimum qualifications are met during resume screening.
