Construction Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee public works and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, field coordination, and client communication across municipal and public-sector construction projects.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, experience working with public agencies, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage public construction projects from award through closeout
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and procurement
• Coordinate with municipalities, inspectors, engineers, and field teams
• Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
• Track project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Support field operations and resolve project-related issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction project management experience
• Experience managing public or commercial projects
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and budgeting
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating with public agencies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license
