Foxborough Public Schools – Level 0.5. Must teach Spanish to students in grades 1 to 4 at the district’s elementary schools. The school district’s elementary program teaches Spanish through stories with an overall proficiency target of Novice Mid by grade 4. Language is delivered via stories, games, songs, and hands‑on activities that motivate students to interact in the target language. The district follows the ACTFL Proficiency Standards.

• Develop and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction for grades 1‑4 that aligns with district curriculum and ACTFL standards.
• Plan and implement lessons incorporating stories, games, songs, and hands‑on activities to promote oral and written proficiency.
• Assess student progress toward the Novice Mid proficiency target and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and specialists to integrate language learning across subjects.
• Maintain accurate attendance and student records.

• Appropriate Massachusetts DESE certification for elementary education.
• Valid citizenship, residency, or work‑visa status.
• Strong proficiency in Spanish speaking and writing.
• Experience teaching elementary students, preferably in Spanish or foreign language instruction.
