Medical Receptionist

Bay State Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Full time - 40 hours per week. In this role, you will be the front office point person, handling scheduling and day-to-day workflow. You will oversee the check-in/out process, ensuring it’s fast, friendly, and accurate, and you will act as the go-to for insurance verifications, authorizations, and co-pay collections.

You’ll be the engine that keeps our clinic running smoothly and ensures every patient feels seen and heard.

Located ten minutes from Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place, our Foxboro clinic offers a dynamic and supportive environment for both patients and clinicians. Our team includes two highly experienced physical therapists with more than 25 years of orthopedic expertise, creating a strong foundation of mentorship and clinical excellence. We’re proud to care for a diverse patient population, from 4 months to 98 years old.

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
• Verify insurance benefits and explain patient financial responsibilities
• Manage patient intake forms and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and insurance approvals
• Support clinic operations and maintain efficient schedules
• Assist with billing, payments, and administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or front desk role required
• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient financial responsibilities preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
