The Role:

The Team Lead directs the day-to-day activity of an assigned production team at the MRG facility, keeping output, quality, and safety on target while coaching operators and supporting continuous improvement on the floor. The role works alongside the team it leads and serves as the primary communication link between operators and the Production Supervisor.

This position will report to the Production Manager.

This role is located on-site at the MRG facility in Foxborough, Massachusetts

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the daily work of an assigned production team to meet schedule, quality, and productivity targets.

Train, coach, and onboard team members on standard work, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

Monitor output and first-pass quality throughout the shift; identify, escalate, and help resolve issues quickly.

Enforce safety, housekeeping (5S), and quality system requirements, including proper use of PPE.Track attendance, staffing coverage, and production documentation for the assigned area.

Support continuous improvement activity, including scrap, downtime, and cost reduction efforts.

Communicate shift priorities, changes, and performance results to the team and to the Production Supervisor.

Perform production work alongside the team as workload requires.

Education, Experience &

Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two or more years of manufacturing or assembly experience, required.

Prior lead, trainer, or informal leadership experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.

Working knowledge of quality standards, work instructions, and safe work practices.

Able to read and follow production schedules, routers, and basic reports; comfortable with basic computer entry.

Clear verbal and written communication with team members and management.

Dependable attendance and a strong record of performance in the current role.
