Account Executive Lead - Group Sales

UMMARY

The Account Executive - Group Sales Lead is responsible for selling inventory of marketing elements including signage, hospitality, promotions, and media, as well as increasing revenue for the organization.

• Achieve or exceed sales and activity quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
• Develop a sales training manual for the corporate sales department
• Prospect nationally and regionally for corporate marketing dollars
• Generate new leads through the monitoring of television, radio, print, billboards, and other entertainment venues
• Follow market trends in the industry to identify new sponsorship candidates
• Establish relationships with decision-makers and generate long-term, successful partnerships by insuring an adequate level of customer service
• Manage weekly call sheets & pending reports to reach budget
• Create and implement marketing initiatives for clients
• Manage individual sales report process, contract negotiation and receivables and deliver reports to Associate VP of Premium Sales and ownership as requested
• Special assignments and projects as business dictates

• This position has no supervisory responsibility

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of previous sales experience
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and results driven
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Finance/Legal Experience preferred
