Property Accountant

We are partnering with a real estate company in the Framingham, MA area who is looking to add a Property Accountant to their team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of properties, including AP, AR, and month-end close activities. Prior property accounting experience is not required, but you must have a degree in accounting or finance.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for assigned properties
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with budgeting and year-end audit support
• Work closely with property managers to resolve accounting issues
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies
• Support additional accounting projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close required
• Prior property accounting experience is not required
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

$80K-$90K depending on experience
