Senior Accountant

Snoonu Senior Accountant will manage revenue accounting, accounts payable, and inventory processes across our Core and Group Finance operations:
Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, etc. You will own Last-Mile and marketplace revenue accounting, vendor and Snoomart accounts payable, cash and petty cash management, and other local
-specific finance processes, while supporting AP/AR reporting for the wider team. This role suits an experienced accountant comfortable managing a high volume of recurring, multi-entity processes with precision.

• Manage Lastmile & Marketplace Revenue Accounting:
  Own B2B offline business invoicing, lastmile sales calculation and billing, LMD payment application, marketplace sales and COGS, and marketing promo discount reclassification.
• Manage Accounts Payable & Vendor Relations:
  Create payment bills in the Procurement system, reconcile vendor statements of account and prepare payments, prepare payment bulk files, create new vendors, and respond to supplier enquiries and debit note validations.
• Own Snoomart Inventory & AP:
  Manage marketplace/Snoomart inventory booking and reporting, consignment sales reports and payables, RTV entries, Snoomart AP schedules and accruals, and monthly Snoomart bill validation.
• Manage Cash & Petty Cash:
  Book cash collections, release cash refunds and vouchers through petty cash, and prepare petty cash statements and manual bulk wallet transfers.
• Support AP/AR Reporting:
  Prepare AP and AR aging reports and marketplace inventory reports.
• Manage Oman Entity Finance:
  Handle IFRS 16 monthly postings, staff payroll booking, depreciation calculations, Salesforce/IBAN verification, weekly payment preparation, and month-end close for the Oman entity.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a part-qualification or full qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Experience:
  
  4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including exposure to revenue accounting, accounts payable, and inventory across multiple entities.
• Systems Knowledge:
  Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo, Procurement systems) and advanced Excel skills.
• Multi-Entity Exposure:
  Experience managing finance processes across more than one country or legal entity.

  Strong ability to reconcile complex, high-volume data and resolve discrepancies independently.

  High accuracy across a broad, varied set of recurring monthly, weekly, and daily deliverables.
