Position: Gift Processor (Part Time)
Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Works with the Associate Director of Development to complete the processing of all gifts to the University and Foundation, as well as create/process batches and acknowledgment letters in a timely manner.

EXAMPLES OF SPECIFIC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Entering all gifts, grants payments, and pledges into the Advancement CRM in an accurate and timely manner.
• Creating, running, and updating general gift-related query reports.
• Preparing deposits according to established procedures and delivering all deposits to the Business Office.
• Creating and maintaining confidential files.
• Producing accurate and timely receipts and acknowledgment letters for all gifts.
• Inputting data updates into the Advancement CRM.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma (bachelor's degree preferred).
• Two to three years of strong clerical or data entry experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Close attention to detail, accurate data entry, and a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or advancement environments.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce).
• Experience with data tracking, reporting, and basic analytics.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time, non-benefited contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week. The scheduled hours are flexible but must occur Monday through Friday between 9 am and 5:30 pm. The pay rate is $24 per hour.
