Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Bose Corporation, we believe sound is the most powerful force on earth — and for over 60 years, we have been a company built on innovation, excellence, and independence. Privately owned, fiercely customer-focused, and driven by our values, we continue to lead industries and transform lives through sound. Today, Bose Corporation is entering an exciting new era. Across multiple global Business Units and Global Functions, we are shaping the future of audio technology, automotive, luxury, and premium experiences.

We invite you to join us in this transformation.

Executive Assistant (Engineering – Premium Consumer and Audio Tech Business Unit VP Support)

At Bose, Engineering is central to how we deliver differentiated experiences and scale our impact as a technology‑driven company. As we evolve our operating model, we are redefining the role of Executive Assistant to be a strategic partner to leadership—enabling focus, driving alignment, and improving how work gets done across the organization. This role is part of the Office of the Chief of Staff (OCOS) within Global R&D, a team focused on driving operational excellence, transformation and leadership alignment, across Engineering.

Executive Assistants are a critical extension of this model—supporting leaders while helping reinforce a more connected organization. This position reports to the Engineering Chief of Staff. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Vice President of Engineering and their leadership team. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—serving as a force multiplier for the VP and a key connector across teams.

What

You’ll Do
  • Executive Enablement:
Manage and optimize complex executive calendars, ensuring time is aligned to priorities and outcomes.
  • Prepare leaders for key meetings by coordinating inputs, materials, and follow‑ups.
  • Anticipate needs and remove friction so leaders can stay focused on high‑impact work.
  • Leadership Team Operations:
Coordinate leadership team cadence (staff meetings, reviews, off‑sites) to ensure clarity, alignment, and follow‑through.
  • Track actions and decisions, helping drive accountability across the leadership team.
  • Support preparation of communications, presentations, and organizational updates.
  • Cross‑Organization Coordination:
Act as a central point of coordination across Engineering, Operations, and partner functions to facilitate information flow, ensuring the right people are aligned at the right time.
  • Help onboard new leaders and team members to the organization’s operating model.
  • Travel & Logistics:
Manage domestic and international travel planning, including itineraries and expense reporting; coordinate key events, leadership sessions, and team engagements as needed.
  • Operational Support:
Partner with Operations teams for activities such as procurement, systems support (e.g., SAP, Ariba), and onboarding logistics; ensure leaders are effectively connected into standardized processes rather than managing fragmented support.
What Sets You Apart
  • Highly proactive – you anticipate needs, not just respond to them.
  • Strong operator – you bring structure, follow‑through, and clarity to complex, fast‑moving environments.
  • Trusted partner – you handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Connector – you know how to navigate across teams and get things done through relationships.
  • Detail‑oriented – you maintain high quality while managing multiple priorities.
  • Clear communicator – strong written and verbal communication, including executive‑level materials.
Experience & Skills
  • 8–10+ years supporting senior executives in a fast‑paced, complex organization.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities with minimal direction.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Experience with enterprise tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Workday, SharePoint).
  • Ability to prepare high‑quality presentations, communications, and briefing materials.
  • Track record of improving team effectiveness through organization and follow‑through.
