The Senior Analyst, Sales Operations – Reporting and Analytics is a key driver of data-informed decision-making across our sales organization. In this role, you'll enable business leaders to make timely, impactful choices by designing and maintaining robust analytical tools that track performance and measure success. Working in a collaborative, innovative environment, you’ll partner with teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT, helping Staples achieve growth and operational excellence.

• Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue trends.
• Build and optimize data models and queries using SQL for scalable, accurate, and efficient data delivery.
• Create visualizations with Power BI, Tableau, or Micro Strategy that communicate insights in a clear, actionable format.
• Define success metrics and KPIs for sales initiatives, ensuring consistent measurement and tracking.
• Conduct deep‑drive analysis on sales and operational data to identify opportunities and performance improvement areas.
• Utilize Alteryx or similar ETL tools to streamline data preparation and automation workflows.
• Drive process optimization and reporting standardization, enabling self‑service analytics and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to present findings, communicate technical concepts, and deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in finance, economics, science, math, engineering, or other analytical field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations.
• Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Micro Strategy for dashboard development and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, data modeling, and formulas.

• Experience with Alteryx or other workflow automation/data preparation tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Salesforce, or enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Prior experience with project management or continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
