We are looking for a Product Developer who will play a key role in the creation and approval of our private label products. In this role you will act as the bridge between creative vision and market reality, working closely with our Product Development team to develop products that fill the specific voids identified by our Merchants and Managers. Your mission is to ensure we deliver trend‑right, high‑quality products to our customers exactly when they need them.

. You will cultivate strong partnerships with global agents, buyers and vendors to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence. To stay ahead of the curve, you will regularly shop the market—from our own floors to our competitors—to identify the fashion, color direction and value propositions that define the next season. - Develop strong working relationships and communication skills.
- Ensure styling details and product standards are clearly communicated and understood by Agents/Vendors. Facilitate problem resolution in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the development process according to time and action deadlines.
- Develop an understanding of how to create achievable programs and how to add efficiencies while working with the Manager and team.
- Work with technical design and design to ensure that the product styling and fit is consistent with current market trends. Work with Managers, Agents and Vendors to develop new techniques and concept samples.
- Work closely with the Sourcing Team.
- Review all submissions received from vendors for compliance with standards. Communicate technically achievable direction to the vendors on how to correct color, strike‑offs, components, and samples.
- Consult Product Manager or team members for functional guidance as necessary.
- Assist in monitoring delivery and production flow according to the Time & Action deadlines. Monitor WIP reports with Product Development team, Agents and Vendors to ensure on‑time delivery for all programs.
- Approve submissions including trims, dips, print strike‑offs, fabric quality and samples against established standards.
- Resolve issues as they arise in accordance with the Time and Action calendar.
- Prioritize workload.
- Act with integrity.
- Recommend methods to improve product construction and quality.
- Degree in Fashion/Home Product Design and/or Merchandising.
- Minimum of 2+ years Product Development experience.
- PC skills including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, PLM, Web PDM, Adobe Illustrator.
- Broad‑based knowledge of garment specifications, including clothing construction, grading, etc.
- Knowledge of garment testing standards and protocols.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational and follow‑through skills.
