An established organization in the retail industry is seeking a Senior Designer to support its in‑house Creative Services team on a freelance basis. This opportunity is well suited for a highly conceptual, strategically minded creative professional who can translate brand goals into compelling visual solutions across multiple channels. The ideal candidate brings a strong design point of view, polished execution, and the ability to create memorable work that strengthens brand storytelling and customer engagement.

In this role, you will partner with creative leadership, copywriters, project managers, and production teams to develop and execute design concepts for digital campaigns, email, web assets, seasonal in‑store signage, and large‑scale environmental graphics. Success in this position requires strong conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to balance creativity with timelines, budgets, and established brand standards.

• Develop innovative, strategically aligned creative concepts based on project goals, team collaboration, and independent research.
• Partner with copywriters and cross‑functional teams to deliver cohesive creative across digital, print, and experiential channels.
• Create design solutions for email, web banners, in‑store sign packages, murals, and other high‑visibility visual installations.
• Collaborate with brand, channel, traffic, studio, and production partners to keep projects on track and aligned with objectives.
• Support review and monitoring of materials throughout pre‑production and production stages.
• Manage multiple assignments efficiently while providing clear and timely project updates.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while bringing fresh, original thinking to each project.
• Stay current on design, fashion, and retail trends to help keep creative work relevant and competitive.

• 8+ years of experience in graphic design, art direction, fashion, or a related creative field.
• High school diploma required; BFA or formal design degree required.
• Strong command of graphic design principles and art direction.
• Demonstrated design talent with the ability to mock up and present concepts in Photoshop.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving creative and production challenges.
• Ability to think and communicate clearly, both visually and verbally.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to share ideas effectively with teams and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Current awareness of industry trends and strong technical design capabilities across multiple media.
