Dental Assisting High School Teacher

Overview:
Deliver both theoretical instruction and practical training in dental assisting. Ensure the curriculum prepares students for successful employment in a dental assisting office setting. Implement instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Dental Assisting Curriculum Frameworks and performance standards. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting topics while staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate effectively on school-wide task forces and academic‑vocational integration activities.

Actively contribute to school-wide initiatives, including task forces and academic‑vocational integration efforts.

Salary commensurate with education and teaching experience.

• Must be certified by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Dental Assisting.
  Five years of recent, full‑time work experience in the field of Dental Assisting.
  Teaching experience with high school students preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
