Locums Critical Care, Trauma Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Locums Critical Care and Trauma Surgery Physician
to provide inpatient trauma andsurgicalcritical care coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a fast-pacedpractice environment with a strong multidisciplinary support team and a minimum anticipated need of three months.

Compensation:$325-$400 Per Hour

• Managean average trauma inpatient census of
  30–50 patients
• Twoattending physicians provide daytime service coverage
• Respondto approximately
  10–20 traumaactivations per 24-hour period
• Approximately
  90–95% of trauma cases are blunt trauma
• Somecall shifts may include coverage of emergency general surgery
  in addition to trauma
• Manageapproximately0–8 emergency general surgery consults, depending on call volume
• Perform0–3 emergency operative cases
  asneeded, including cases such as perforated viscus
