Reaching Teaching Growing Tutors (FWS ONLY)--Off Campus

Location: Majority Remote

Located in Greater Boston, Mass Bay is a comprehensive, open-access community college offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant and inclusive educational community and have a desire and ability to work with a diverse population. This is a part-time, student employment position with no benefits. This position will offer up to 1-hour tutoring sessions, once or twice a week, to students in grades 2-12 in 30-minute increments.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Offer up to 1-hour tutoring sessions, once or twice a week, to students in grades 2-12 in 30-minute increments. Each session will include interactive one-on-one engagement;
  • Offer positive and constructive feedback to students, their parents/guardians, and their supervisor when appropriate;
  • Demonstrate academic best practices for specific subjects and assignments, not limited to research and writing strategies;
  • Provide support to the RTG Tutoring Program internal and external organizational files, collect surveys, call/email/text announcements.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $19 per hour
