When you join Kalexedy Learning Center, a private microschool, as our new Summer Camp Activity Assistant, you’ll help us support families by providing guidance, energy, educational instruction, and direction in a professional manner to campers in a safe and nurturing environment. Camp Activity Assistants will be directly supervised by the Lead Teacher. The employment period includes Monday, June 23, 2025, through Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Full-time, seasonal position in Framingham, MA. Up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

RequirementsJob Duties
- Provide leadership, energy, and team spirit; assess group dynamics and individual needs.
- Implement the curriculum under supervision, adapting as needed.
- Teach and supervise games, activities, sports, and free play.
- Attend all meetings, orientations, and training.
- Follow dress code and act professionally; comply with policies and procedures.
- Participate in field trips, activities, and instruction.
- Co-supervise at least 12 campers during programs and events.
- Pay attention to detail in supervising campers and completing assignments.
- Manage forms, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain program integrity and promote a positive, safe learning environment.
- Report incidents and important events to the Camp Director/Lead Teacher.
- Assist in developing the weekly CAMP newsletter.
- Mentor Counselors-in-Training for each camp week.
Kalexedy Learning Center is an in-person academic and enrichment center for middle and high school students, functioning as a microschool with smaller, multi-age groups. Our staff play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment.
