Job description:

* teach course(s) in psychology.

* teach in online, hybrid, or face-to-face formats.

* develop syllabi and instructional materials.

* assess student performance.

* provide assistance and mentorship to students.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

* master's degree in a related field.

* evidence of expertise, scholarly activity, or creative work appropriate to the discipline.

* commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging in the curriculum and the classroom.

Preferred qualifications:

* phd or other terminal degree in related field.

* successful college teaching experience.

Additional information:

This posting is for potential part-time, non-benefited, day program faculty positions in the psychology department. The current salary rate for a typical lecture course (4 contact hours) taught by a new part-time faculty member in the day program is $6,535.44, paid through bi-weekly payroll direct deposit. Rates may vary for other course types based on contact hour equivalencies.
