Salary commensurate with education and teaching experience. Annual salary range $57,545 to $115,568
OverviewDeliver high quality instructional and applied learning opportunities aligned with the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Education Frameworks for Carpentry (Chapter 74), including all applicable performance standards and competency requirements.
Develop and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and shop/lab activities that support student skill development, workplace readiness, safety, and industry best practices.
Maintain a safe and productive learning environment with a strong emphasis on construction safety procedures and OSHA standards.
Collaborate with academic and vocational staff to support student achievement, career readiness, and successful completion of Chapter 74 program requirements.

Job Requirements- Must hold or be eligible to obtain the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Chapter 74 Carpentry Vocational Technical Teacher licensure.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Must possess a current Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
- Must have a minimum of five years of recent and relevant full‑time employment experience in the carpentry or construction industry, as required for Chapter 74 vocational licensure.
- Must hold OSHA 10 certification or be willing to complete OSHA 10 training during the first year of employment.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
