Make a meaningful impact supporting 2nd and 3rd grade students by providing specialized instruction and guidance in a well‑respected educational setting. This full‑time, contract position offers an opportunity to collaborate with dedicated professionals working with children who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments. You'll be onsite, serving as a key resource to ensure student progress and well‑being.

Key Qualifications
  • Current Massachusetts licensure in Special Education either Moderate or Severe Disabilities
  • Prior experience delivering special education services in a school‑based setting
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies for students with developmental or intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to pass CORI background check and submit fingerprints (letter of suitability from a previous employer may be accepted)
  • Comfortable working 8:00 AM‑2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialized instruction to a dedicated caseload of 2nd and 3rd grade students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff to support student achievement
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress, adapting instructional approaches as needed
  • Support positive classroom management and foster an inclusive learning environment
  • Engage in professional development and ongoing communication with colleagues
