Position Summary

The SEB Coach supports faculty and staff with tiered supports and interventions to enhance student success. The position works directly with school leaders, teachers, and staff to ensure that social, emotional, and behavioral programming is fully integrated into all aspects of the school experience.

Qualifications
  • Valid Massachusetts Teaching License:
    Grades 1‑6 and SEI Endorsement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience
  • Experience implementing research‑based social‑emotional‑behavioral best practices
  • Proven track record of developing instructional content and delivering professional development
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese encouraged

Essential Duties
  • Assist teachers with classroom management via coaching, modeling, and feedback
  • Develop and deliver professional development on evidence‑based approaches
  • Integrate SEB practices with PBIS and other initiatives
  • Provide expertise to support academic, behavioral, and SEL experiences
  • Develop and implement SEB framework including MTSS
  • Use SEB data to inform school practices and decision making
  • Oversee crisis protocols and response procedures
  • Plan and implement lessons with instructional technology
  • Collaborate with leadership and staff for SEB programming
  • Participate in school teams (Crisis, Student Support)
  • Maintain relationships with students, parents, and community
  • Attend staff meetings and serve on committees
  • Consult with families and partners for student success
  • Communicate student progress to parents with language accessibility
  • Implement school policies to enhance culture and conduct
  • Commit to ongoing professional development
  • Participate in staff meetings, committees, extracurricular activities as directed
  • Plan assignments for support staff and volunteers
  • Other duties as assigned
