  • Implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress and engage students in the assessment and tracking process.
  • Analyze data on student performance to effectively inform instruction.
  • Provide differentiated support, including accommodations and modifications to ensure all students meet and exceed standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including peer observations.
  • Implement school‑wide positive behavioral systems to effectively manage the classroom.
  • Communicate regularly with students’ families regarding performance and progress.
  • Serve as a Crew adviser to 10‑12 students, leading a daily advisory (crew) and regularly communicating with parents.
  • Serve as an active member of the McAuliffe Community, including attending occasional evening celebrations of student learning.

  • Soft Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to teamwork, and readiness to reflect and grow.
  • Licensure:
Massachusetts DESE licensure in World Language‑Spanish (PreK‑8 or 5‑12) or eligibility for waiver.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Move around classroom and school to assist students.
  • Lift/move instructional materials up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents in person and digitally.
