Position: Campus Aide (0.4 FTE)

Campus Aide (0.4 FTE) Cameron Middle School

The Campus Aide provides supervision and direction to students across various areas of the school campus and maintains classroom continuity to ensure that students continue to learn in their teacher's absence. This role serves as a perfect entry point into the school environment, offering valuable hands-on experience working across diverse areas of the school building and providing a strong foundation for individuals looking to further their profession through future promotional opportunities.

This position is essential to promoting a safe, orderly environment for students and staff during both classroom and non-classroom activities. This commitment aligns with Framingham Public Schools' high expectations for achievement, equal access to high levels of instruction, academic proficiency for all students, and closing the opportunity gap among subgroups within the schools.

  • Educational Requirement:
    High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Professional

    Experience:

    Experience working with children or within an educational/community setting is preferred.

  • Language Proficiency:
    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
