Position Summary

- Valid Massachusetts Teaching license in the area of study is preferred.
- Educational background:
Experience in the specific field with appropriately aged students. - Relevant experience:
Professional experience and/or previous experience operating within a school setting. - Language proficiency:
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
- Educational theory & application:
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in the educational field to support student enrichment. - Communication skills:
Proficiency in communicating clearly, concisely, and responsively—both orally and in writing—across staff, parents, and the general public. - Problem‑solving & reasoning:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend appropriate courses of action to ensure student success. - Organization & multi‑tasking:
Strong organizational skills with a proven capacity to work independently, focus, prioritize, and manage multiple program streams and tasks simultaneously. - Equity & inclusion:
Ability to work with students and staff of diverse backgrounds with diverse needs in an equitable, inclusive, and culturally proficient manner. - Compliance & discretion:
Ability to perform duties with high professional awareness of district goals, state/federal regulations, and school board policies while maintaining appropriate confidential records. - Professional resilience:
Capacity to react calmly, professionally, and objectively to unpredictable situations. - Collaboration & teamwork:
Ability to consistently collaborate with colleagues through shared planning or informal conversation to analyze student performance and development. - Learning environment design:
Capacity to support the creation of appropriate and effective academic, behavioral, and social/emotional learning experiences for students.
