The Career Development (Work Study) Teacher coordinates a comprehensive work-study and career development program that provides students with valuable work experiences and implements a post-secondary curriculum to optimize career readiness. The Work-Study Teacher delivers curriculum aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) expectations and outcomes for College and Career Readiness (CCR). This commitment aligns with Framingham Public Schools' high expectations for achievement, equal access to quality instruction, academic proficiency for all students, and closing the achievement gap among subgroups within the schools.

Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in:

• Any High School Level with SEI Endorsement.

Training and Experience

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required;
  Master's Degree preferred.
• Professional Experience: Public education experience required, with direct experience as a classroom teacher preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with career development, post-secondary pathway options and work-study program frameworks.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.
