Interdisciplinary Teacher (Grades 6–12) – Stow, Massachusetts – Masters Academy International.

Our interdisciplinary teaching model engages students in projects that connect ideas across literature, history, philosophy, social sciences, math, science, technology, and the arts. In this role, you will design project-based learning experiences that invite students to grapple with authentic problems and questions that matter to them and the broader community.

As a lead instructor, you will guide student-athletes in grades 6–12 through interdisciplinary, project-based learning.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and facilitating engaging units that integrate multiple disciplines.
• Supporting student-driven inquiry and scaffolding research, collaboration, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Leading class sessions and small‑group work, mentoring students, fostering social‑emotional growth, and helping them balance academics and elite athletics.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure coherence across units and grades.
• Creating a classroom culture of curiosity and respect, and communicating proactively with students, families, and peers.
• Connecting students with community partners, experts, and audiences for their work, guiding them in translating learning into meaningful action.

You are an experienced, reflective, and collaborative educator with a passion for interdisciplinary, project‑based learning. Desired qualifications include:

• Several years of teaching experience.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to connect concepts across disciplines.
• Understanding of the unique demands facing student‑athletes, or willingness to learn about them.
• Commitment to student success, integrity, courage, and collaboration.
• Adaptability, technological proficiency, and a facilitation mindset.
