Early Literacy Tutor K-3; Part-Time

Overview

Part‑time Early Literacy Tutor (K‑3) in Framingham, MA. This position begins Fall 2026 and is offered in multiple part‑time schedules Monday through Thursday.

• 9:25 AM–12:30 PM (~16 hrs/wk): support students Grades 1–3 during morning programming.
• 9:00 AM–3:00 PM (~21 hrs/wk): morning support and possible afternoon support at additional sites.
• 9:45 AM–1:15 PM (~14 hrs/wk): support students during mid‑morning instructional blocks.

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
• Communicate and confer with parents providing information on student progress.
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills using Company‑designed materials.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill‑appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state and/or federal agencies.
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 4‑year degree with some work experience with children.
• Tutor must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.
