Data Engineer, Data Science Manager
About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will join a team that works on a broad spectrum of descriptive data sets related to providers across the healthcare continuum. Your role involves identifying problems, analyzing information, and formulating creative solutions and processes to enhance our data products. You will manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment, driving change and sharing ideas with your peers.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage data from various sources and integrate it into our product using SQL, Python, and AWS workflow tools such as Argo or Airflow.
- Re‑engineer existing data flows and add new data assets to optimize performance, leveraging your SQL and ETL expertise.
- Explore innovative solutions for optimizing and operationalizing data collection, transformation, and incorporation of evolving data sets.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers on large‑scale projects; mentor junior engineers on SQL, Python, and AWS practices.
- Partner with Product Management and Product Engineering teams on the development and engineering of our product and its complex data structures, supporting continuous evolution and growth.
- 5+ years of professional data‑engineering experience.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Python or a similar language.
- Experience using ETL tools, preferably AWS Argo and/or Airflow; SSIS is a plus.
- Background in data engineering with familiarity in the healthcare domain.
- Understanding of data‑modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with code repositories such as Git Hub or Azure.
- Experience with database systems, including SQL Server and Postgres.
- Knowledge of AWS S3 storage and Databricks unified data platform.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to facilitate code development.
- Desire to take on responsibility and ownership of your work.
- Excellent analytical skills, including working with large data sets.
The salary range for this position is PHP 106,000 – 198,000 per year, with actual pay depending on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
Eligible employees may also participate in a company bonus or commission plan. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; unlimited paid time off; and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
