This position is a full‑time (40 hrs./week), onsite role with competitive hourly pay and overtime eligibility. The program starts in August 2026 and continues through Fall 2026, with flexibility around the school calendar. Students who perform well may be considered for future full‑time opportunities.

Job Description

We are seeking students who are pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Architectural Engineering) to join our mechanical, HVAC, and energy design team. The role offers hands‑on training in mechanical/HVAC/Energy design, with mentorship from Professional Engineers in AutoCAD and Revit. You will assist in creating real construction drawings for legitimate CMTA projects.

Job Functions
  • Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems.
  • Create one‑line diagrams and schematics.
  • Assist the design team with assembling organized sets of drawings.
  • Support data collection and/or field verification activities.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to help develop all aspects of a project.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably a sophomore or junior.
  • Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering.
  • AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Full‑time commitment in the office throughout the co‑op term.
  • Ready to travel locally for site inspections and field work.
