Partner is seeking full‑time Project Engineers across the country to complete Property & Facility Condition Assessments and subsequent due diligence reports for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties- Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements.
- Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.).
- Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.).
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client.
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope.
- BA or advanced degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
- 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
- 3+ years of experience performing property inspections.
- 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Project work involves a degree of travel; candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation to and from project sites.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on projects concurrently and deliver quality products on time.
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
- Familiar with basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems.
- Understand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costs.
- Strong skills in observation, deduction, and reasoning.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
- Requires the ability to climb a ladder.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid based on weekly site visits.
- Relocation does not apply to this position.
Salary range: $85,000 to $105,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. The pay scale considers skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications and other business needs. A discretionary incentive bonus program may also be available based on performance.
